Next week is Holy Week. A time to really focus on what Christ did for us and what is our commitment to Him. As He prepares for his Crucifixion he is committed to complete what his Father has asked of him.
Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality. It is the words that speak boldly of our intentions. The actions which speak louder than words. It is making the time when there is none. Coming through time after time, year after year. Commitment is the stuff character is made of; the power to change the face of things. It is the daily triumph of integrity over skepticism. – Source unknown.
Your Lenten Journey should be of reflection on how you live and seek direction from the Lord. A time to leave the crowd and stop listening and responding to what everyone else says is OK.
What will be your commitment to Christ, not only as we complete our Lenten Journey next week, but for the rest of life?
